A new pedestrian bridge was installed in Troy, Illinois at Tri Township Park on September 3, 2009 with ramps and landscaping to follow.  The 66 foot bridge spans the lake and was made possible by a grant from Madison County.  The bridge was custom built and designed by Topper Industries, Inc. of Battle Ground, Washington.  It was constructed with a 1’6” camber at mid-span to give it an aesthetically pleasing look with Topper slip resistant decking made of aluminum.  Dave Lester, President of Topper Industries has been custom designing aluminum structures for 20+ years.
